The Institute of Physics and Astronomy organizes weekly seminars as part of a postgraduate course. The seminars are given mostly by PhD students although sometimes there are external invited speakers. The talks are destined to all researchers in the institute.

colloquia

The Institute of Physics and Astronomy, and the Valparaíso Astrophysics Centre organizes regular colloquia, aimed at lecturers and researchers of the institute. These colloquia are given by visiting astrophysisists, astronomers and physisists from Chile and abroad, as well as local researchers at IFA.
